I never made the move when Livejournal was circling the drain, I just holed up on forums. And then I went to Tumblr for a bit, which was pretty great while it lasted, but I sure did miss a lot of LJ's features. I haven't had a real fandom presence since I ditched Tumblr (though I have been using a heavily adblocked version of twitter as a photo album for FFXIV screenshots), but now I've started actually writing fanfic (finally! it's been decades), so I guess it's time to dust off the old account and become a fandomite again.
And it's this account, the semi-anonymous one I created for fandomsecrets, not the "real" one associated with my LJ and Tumblr names, that I'm dusting off, 'cause my fic is dead dove hell stuff and I'm still chicken.
